I’ve been a member here since they first opened and I have watched this place essentially fall apart year by year. It’s either they can’t handle the volume of people or it’s poorly mismanaged. You will not be surprised to see broken machines, the infrared sauna is permanently broken, mens whirl pool never work and there’s only two squat racks in a very large gym. Additionally- if you are paying for the higher tier membership (like me) you have access to towel service but now due to the community stealing towel club but not maintaining or offering the amenities promised is basically predatory pricing. “Look at all this cool stuff but hey it don’t work just nice to look at” If it wasn’t for a good location (less than a mile from my home) and the turf I’d likely be gone. I’ll deal with the cons but if you’re an average gym goer I’d check out some other gyms in the area before committing. 1/22- Update they ran out of toilet paper. How do you run out of toilet paper? 1/27- Update- I entered the gym today on a Saturday morning at 10:30- it was peak time. Place was a zoo we had people on the turf doing handstands. Why I have no clue. I tried to get on a treadmill they were all taken but there were two open but as per usual they were broken. I decided to hit the free weights all benches taken. I immediately left and signed up at paramount.

The gym is okay, I do what I need to do and go, but the sauna is broken indefinitely which is stupid, you charge initiation fee so where that money going, you can’t use the hiitt room, so why even have it 🙄, Treadmills buttons are broken is annoying. They have a waiting space that no one sits at, make it useful and add a couple more machines. But other than that it’s pretty clean which is a good thing.

Best gym! It’s brand new and a pool, and huge sauna, and steam room! Andddddd day care! Update: sept 22- both sauna and steam room used to be hot. Sauna was 165° and great now 140° same with steam room. 🤷🏽‍♂️ Update: 3/10/23 place is falling apart everything always broken. Especially the steam room, the whirlpool seems to never work, multiple treadmills broke Update 9/07/23 this place is the worst. Sauna is permanently closed. Nothing has ever worked more than a few months. Other than the pool this place might as well be painted purple.

This is a really good place to start working out! The atmosphere is great, the equipment is reliable, and my trainer, Dylan, is great! I've been seeing the results, and though they're not astonishing, they're still great! There's only one bad thing I can say: the sauna is closed. Forever. Still, I love LA Fitness, and I hope to continue making progress!

We, my wife and I Joined the LA Fitness Club for more then two years ago, hoping that it will be the best health club in area . I bought an personal training package for one year. As per my contract signed by the club's representative that there will be 10 training sessions for month, but once the training started the club associate informed us that it will be 8 session per month not 10 as offered. I try to resolve this issue within the club and tried calling main office in California . As of today, after more then one year not a single representative ever approached or try to resolve or give an effective answer for this ongoing issue. For first three to four month there was no trainer available to start my training and after 3 month every 15 -20 days some new trainer comes in. The availability of trainer is not good as well. I try to reach corporate headquarter many times and no one ever returned the call back. There are other issues involving the club itself. Most of the time the hot tub and steam room are out of service. Now Sauna is permanently closed. The club also charges $ 50.00 per year to each member for maintenance services without any proper maintenances are there. There are a lot of customers like myself feels the same. I am sure they must have send same kind of review. Hoping my issue resolves sooner than later. Wish that the club also gets in proper gear with all the offered services intact for the member fee they are charging each member. Thanks a lot. Hoping to hear soon from the club.

This is a very honest review! The location of this gym is great! As far as the machines? There’s always an issue with them. The sauna is always out of service. The bathrooms are extremely dirty! The HIT room that we pay for is locked and is reserved for the personal trainers and the people that work there. The people that come there are nice. Take care and use your own judgment. Clean everything before you use them cause like I said everything is dirty. I saw blood on the toilet seat to say the least.
